Subcommittee on Indian and Alaska Native Affairs sets hearing

House
Subcommittee on Indian and Alaska Native Affairs will hold a hearing tomorrow to discuss tribal land disputes.
The witness list includes Vincent Armenta, the chairman of the
Santa Ynez Band of
Chumash Indians of California.
The tribe is facing local opposition to its land-into-trust application and other land plans.
The hearing takes place at 2pm in Room 1324 of the Longworth House Office Building. The witness list follows:
