Voters of St. Regis Mohawk Tribe oust two of three council chiefs

Voters of the
St. Regis Mohawk Tribe of New York ousted two of three chiefs who were seeking re-election.
Incumbent Chief Mark Garrow and incumbent Sub-Chief Stacy Skidders lost their seats on the council. Paul Thompson will now serve as chief while Eric Thompson will serve as sub-chief.
Sub-Chief Pamela Brown won her re-election bid.
