Winnebago Tribe goes global with economic development efforts

In addition to providing jobs on the reservation, the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska is putting people to work around the globe.
Ho-Chunk Inc., the tribe's economic development corporation, employs more than 1,000 people in 26 subsidiaries in the U.S., Mexico, Iraq and other nations.
The corporation, which is headed by Lance Morgan, a tribal member, reports $230 million in annual revenue.
Ho-Chunk Inc owns Indianz.Com and AllNative.Com.
