The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes of Idaho will open a $47 million hotel and event center in mid-July, with a grand opening slated for August 17.
The 164,000 square-foot facility sits on an 83-acre site. It includes hotel with 156 rooms, a a 900-seat event center, two restaurants, a spa, a souvenir shop, a fitness facility and an indoor pool and hot tub.
The tribe is hiring 140 people to work at the facility.
