House Resources Committee sets markup on tribal energy bill

The
House Natural Resources Committee
meets tomorrow for a markup session.
Seven bills are on the agenda. Included is
H.R.3973
, the Native American Energy Act.
Tribes testified in favor of the bill at a
House Subcommittee on Indian and Alaska Native Affairs
hearing on February 15. They said it will help to speed up federal review of energy projects on reservations.
Tomorrow's markup takes place at 10am in Room 1328 of the Longworth House Office Building.
