Evicted residents blame Robinson Rancheria for housing woes

Residents who were evicted by the Robinson Rancheria Pomo Indians of California say the tribe failed to provide services at a housing development on the reservation.

Karen Ramos, Inez Sands, Christina and Alan Harrison, Robert Quitiquit, Reuben Want and his wife Rosalie were evicted from their homes on Tuesday. The tribe said they failed to pay housing fees but the former residents believe the action was politically motivated.

The five who were evicted were recently disenrolled from the tribe. Another dozen people could be evicted, according to The Lake County Record-Bee.
