Leaders of the Oglala Sioux Tribe of South Dakota are seeking an investigation into the deaths of 75 people on the Pine Ridge Reservation.
Most of the deaths occurred between 1973 to 1975. In 2000, the FBI released a reported that addressed the circumstance of
57 deaths.
Tribal leaders say the report was insufficient and have federal authorities to look into those cases, as well as additional ones that have occurred in more recent years.
