Posted: Tuesday, April 3, 2012
Lance Morgan, a member of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska, will take part in a roundtable at the White House on Thursday.
Morgan serves as chief executive officer of Ho-Chunk Inc., the tribe's economic development corporation. He will take part in the White House Rural Council's Native American Food and Agriculture Roundtable.
“It is a real privilege to have a voice with senior policy advisors to the President and the Cabinet with our ideas on how to encourage food and agriculture opportunities in Indian Country,” Morgan said. “This roundtable once again allows the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska to take an important leadership role in shaping the future of rural economic development in Indian Country.”
