"Thursday kicks off a year-long focus on aboriginal architecture for the local architecture group M.A.D.E.
Chipewyan architect Alfred Waugh will speak on how aboriginal culture influences design at the Art Gallery of Alberta at 7 p.m.
Well-known aboriginal architect Douglas Cardinal (think Edmonton’s Space and Science Centre, St. Albert’s city hall or the Canadian Museum of Civilization in Ottawa/Hull) is scheduled to speak in Edmonton March 29, and architect Richard Kroeker is scheduled May 10."
