One person pleaded guilty and charges were dismissed against another in the Muscogee Nation tobacco bribery case.

Michael P. Wisner, the former CEO of the tribe's Department of Trade and Commerce Authority, pleaded to charges of conspiracy and perjury in federal court. He admitted that he conspired with a tobacco wholesaler to sell cigarettes at a low rate.

Meanwhile, a federal judge dismissed charges against Edward Warrington, a former warehouse manager at the tribal authority. He had already been tried in tribal court.
