Tigua Tribe to shut down costly Olympic-size swimming pool

The Tigua Tribe of Texas is closing its Olympic-sized swimming pool, The El Paso Times reports.
The facility became too costly to maintain. An entertainment center for concerts and sports events will open in its place
"It was a financial decision, something anticipated," Lt. Gov. Carlos Hisa told the paper.
The pool cost $350,000 a year to maintain, the paper reported.
