A young Native couple who was featured in a CBC News documentary is hoping for the best after their daughter underwent surgery for a brain tumor.
Tyson Kakakaway, 17, and Kelsey Geddes, 15, became parents during the filming of Blind Spot.
They became alarmed when their nine-month-old daughter, Clara, was unable to move.
That's when doctors found the tumor on Clara's brain stem. She underwent surgery on Wednesday, CBC reported.
The couple was part of a documentary about young Native fathers.
