Sen. Kyl will introduce bill to settle Hopi, Navajo water rights

Sen. Jon Kyl (R-Arizona) will introduce legislation to settle the water rights of the
Hopi Tribe and the
Navajo Nation, the Associated Press reports.
The bill will resolve tribal claims to the Little Colorado River. It promises the tribes groundwater delivery projects worth an estimated $313 million.
Kyl is retiring at the end of the 112th Congress.
