Crow Reservation murder defendant enters not guilty plea

A man accused of murdering three people on the Crow Reservation in Montana entered a not guilty plea on Monday.

Sheldon Bernard Chase, 22, is a member of the Crow Tribe. He has been charged with three counts of first degree murder.

Authorities say Chase killed his grandmother, Gloria Sarah Goes Ahead Cummins, 80; his cousin, 21-year-old Levon Driftwood; and Driftwood's boyfriend, Ruben Jefferson, on October 4. He allegedly used a gun that he took from his mother's home on Fort Berthold Reservation in North Dakota.
