Authorities are searching for a young member of the Crow Tribe of Montana who is a suspect in a triple homicide on the reservation.
Sheldon Bernard Chase, 22, is suspected in the shootings of his grandmother and a young couple near Lodge Grass. He is believed to be armed and dangerous.
"This is pretty devastating to the community and the Crow Nation," Secretary Scott Russell told The Billings Gazette. "We are all in shock."
Several schools on the reservation were closed amid security concerns. Some schools reopened but with classes behind locked doors.
