A young member of the Crow Tribe of Montana who is a suspect in a triple homicide on the reservation was arrested in Spokane, Washington, on Wednesday evening. Sheldon Bernard Chase, 22, is suspected in the shootings of his grandmother, Gloria Sarah Goes Ahead Cummins; his 21-year-old cousin, Levon F. Driftwood; and her boyfriend, Rueben Charles Jefferson, 20. The incident occurred at Cummins' home near Lodge Grass. Authorities aren't speculating on a motive. Chase has been described as a quiet person with a history of mental illness. "It really is not at an ending point," FBI supervisor Eric Barnhart told The Billings Gazette of the arrest.
