"You Skins are not ready.
See, I’m about to unleash a beast on you all—a Native writer who is SO amazing and SO prolific … his name is Robert Chanate, and he is undoubtedly the most interesting Indian man in the world (which means that he is the most interesting man in the world period, as long as you don’t count Easter Islanders. Because they’re just really interesting as a rule. That’s just not a fair comparison).
Robert defeated ALL of the Iron Chefs cooking only with commodities. His Indian car is a Rolls Royce with bumper stickers all around it and sweetgrass hanging from the rear view mirror. There are members of animals groups that are proud members of the “Robert Chanate” Clan; they proudly wear a tattoo of his form on their chests.
Yes, I said it: the most interesting Indian man in the world."
