Passamaquoddy Tribe shares $1.9M in road funds with state

The
Passamaquoddy Tribe at Indian Township
gave $1.9 million in federal road funds to the state of Maine.
The tribe received the money through the Indian Reservation Roads program at the
Bureau of Indian Affairs
. The
Maine Department of Transportation
will use the funds to complete two projects on the reservation.
Last year, the tribe contributed $950,000 toward a $1.7 million bridge project.
