Senate Indian Affairs Committee events at NCAI meeting

The Senate Indian Affairs Committee will be hosting two events during the National Congress of American Indians 68th annual conference this week.
Today, from 4:30pm to 6pm, the committee will host a listening session on pending legislation. Topics include the Native Violence Against Women Act, transportation and energy development.
Tomorrow, from 10am to 3pm, staff director Loretta Tuell will host individual meetings with tribal leaders. Tuell is a member of the Nez Perce Tribe of Idaho.
NCAI's conference takes place at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland.
