Robinson Rancheria chair accused of theft from another tribe





Tracey Isabelle Avila, the chairwoman of the Robinson Rancheria Pomo Indians of California, has been charged with theft.

Avila, 50, is accused of stealing from the Elem Pomo Tribe. She used to be the tribe's fiscal officer.

Avila was charged with one count of felony grand theft in state court. California falls under Public Law 280.
