The Las Vegas Paiute Tribe of Nevada pays tribute to its culture and surrounding at its golf resort. The Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort features three courses: Snow Mountain, Sun Mountain and Wolf. Snow Mountain, or nu-wav kaiv in the Paiute language, refers to Mount Charleston, where the tribe went for water, hunting and gathering. Sun Mountain, or tav-Ai kaiv, refers to the early morning prayers that tribal members give towards the mountain. Wolf, or Kwetoo-Unuv, is a unique course since the animal isn't usually found in the area. Get the Story:
