Tigua Tribe awarded two grants for language and museum work

The
Tigua Tribe
of Texas has been awarded $142,451 in federal grant money.
The tribe will use $99,970 from the
Department of Health and Human Services
for language preservation. Another $42,481 from the
Department of Transportation
will be used to make improvements at the Tigua Indian Museum and Cultural Center.
