Leaders of the Snoqualmie Tribe of Washington might remove outspoken hereditary chief Jerry Enick from his post.

Enick has been critical of the sitting council members for delaying a scheduled election. He also blasted them for passing a resolution that legalized marijuana -- although the move was meant as a joke.

Council members have asked Enick to appear at a meeting today. He previously said he was going to present a petition for their removal but is holding off, The Snoqualmie Valley Star reports.
