The
Navajo Nation
is still the largest tribe by far in Arizona, according to the
2010 Census
.
There were 131,445 people who identified themselves as Navajo. That's far more than the nearly 25,000 who said they are Apache.
About 19,500 people identified themselves as Pima, followed by about 16,800 who said they are from the
Tohono-O'odham Nation
.
