Prince William and his new wife, Catherine, experienced Dene and Inuit culture in a visit to the Northwest Territories on Tuesday. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge watched Inuit dances, saw a traditional high kick, ate some Native foods and even participated in a shinny game. The prince also spoke some words in Dene and in Inuvialuktun, according to news reports. The Royal Couple is headed to Alberta, where news reports suggest they might attend the Calgary Stampede. In July 1977, Prince Charles, William's father, met with Native leaders and commemorated the 100th anniversary of the signing of Treaty 7. Get the Story:
