New chairman for Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission





Gerald Lewis, a member of the Yakama Nation, has been elected chairman of the Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission.

Lewis will serve one year. He was chosen for the position by other members of the commission.

The commission represents the four tribes with treaty rights on the Columbia River -- the Yakama Nation, the Umatilla Tribes, the Nez Perce Tribe and the Warm Springs Tribes.
