Turtle Talk examines Indian law rulings in state court cases

Turtle Talk is looking at the outcomes of Indian law cases in state court systems.
For the Montana Supreme Court, Turtle Talk reviewed more than 50 cases, dating back to 1986.
According to the analysis, tribal interests won 70 percent of the time.
The North Dakota Supreme Court wasn't as kind. Based on a review of 24 cases dating to 1986, tribal interests only won 38 percent of the time.
