Santee Sioux security supervisor convicted of sexual abuse





A federal jury in Nebraska convicted the security supervisor for the Santee Sioux Tribe of sexual abuse.

Larry Rouillard, 49, was found guilty of engaging in a sexual act with an Indian woman while she was incapable of consenting to the act. The incident occurred in May 2010.

Rouillard was indicted in August 2010 and was hired by the tribe in February. Vice Chairman David Henry told The Sioux City Journal that the tribe was aware of the charge.
