House Natural Resources hearing for Navajo power plant





Two subcommittees of the House Natural Resources Committee will hold a joint oversight hearing next Tuesday, May 24, on a tribal energy issue.

The hearing will examine the Navajo Generating Station. The coal-fired power plant is located on the Arizona portion of the Navajo Nation.

The hearing before the Subcommittee on Water and Power and the Subcommittee on Indian and Alaska Native Affairs takes place at 2pm in Room 1324 of the Longworth House Office Building. A witness list hasn't been posted.
