Idaho's Forgotten War
," a documentary about the
Kootenai Tribe
, will be shown on the Flathead Reservation in Montana on Sunday.
The film documents the war that former chairwoman Amy Cutsack Trice declared on the United States in 1974. The effort led to federal recognition for the tribe.
Trice will be on hand to discuss the film at
Salish Kootenai College
.
