The Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians has declared its limits for off-reservation fishing in Wisconsin.
By treaty, tribe retains off-reservation fishing rights in the Wisconsin Ceded Territory.
This season, tribal members can spear 21,893 walleye on 255 lakes.
The tribe agreed to a two-bag limit in certain lakes. A three-bag limit remains in place for other lakes.
"We will still have a three-bag limit, but with compromises," President Tom Maulson told The Lakeland Times.
