Two men charged over theft from Gila River Indian Community

Two members of the
Gila River Indian Community of Arizona have been indicted for stealing more than $32,000 from the tribe.
Franklin Joseph Jackson Sr., 62, of Bapchule, and Lloyd Notah Jr., 63, have each been charged with one count of embezzlement from a tribal organization.
Federal prosecutors say the men stole from the Lone Butte Industrial Development Corporation.
Jackson and Notah served on the corporation's board of directors.
