A.T. "Rusty" Stafne, the chairman of the
Fort Peck Tribes, has been named to the
Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Commission.
Stafne, a rancher who raises cattle and horses, is one of five members of the commission. He will help set state policy for the management of the fish, wildlife, state parks, and other outdoor recreational resources.
Stafne appears to be the only American Indian on the commission.
