Chippewa Indians of Montana closed its office in Great Falls as part of a dispute over funding from the state.
President John Sinclair said the tribe needs state money to operate the office. But the state has cut stimulus and grant funds due to accounting and management issues.
A rival tribal leader wants the office to remain in Great Falls. John Gilbert suggested that Sinclair moved the office to keep critics away.
