Third person charged for rape and murder of Navajo woman
Authorities arrested a third man in connection with the rape and murder of a Navajo Nation woman in Farmington, New Mexico. Elmer Billy, 45, was charged with first-degree felony criminal sexual penetration, second-degree felony conspiracy to commit criminal sexual penetration, first-degree felony kidnapping and second-degree felony conspiracy to commit kidnapping. Similar charges have been laid against Marvin Williams, 36, and Herman Tsosie, 33, the two other suspects. Additionally, Williams faces an open count of murder. He is believed to have been the primary attacker. The woman, who was 55, was raped on Sunday. She died in a hospital on Monday. Get the Story:
