Federal, state and tribal officials will make an announcement in Washington, D.C., tomorrow regarding the Navajo Nation water rights settlement.
In March, President Barack Obama signed the tribe's settlement into law. Part of the deal includes an $870 million pipeline that will provide water to communities on and off the reservation.
The announcement tomorrow will focus on the Navajo-Gallup Water Supply Project. It takes place at 12:30pm in Room 366 of the Senate Dirksen Office Building.
