An 18-year-old woman faces murder and other charges in connection with an incident that left a 14-year-old boy dead on the Red Lake Nation in Minnesota.
Patricia Ann Brown, a tribal member, allegedly stabbed the boy in the chest with a knife on April 12. The boy was taken to a hospital but he died in the parking lot after emergency room staff failed to save him.
Brown also faces charges of assault resulting in serious bodily injury and assault with a dangerous weapon for allegedly cutting two other juveniles with a knife.
