A lobbyist who has been indicted in connection with the Jack Abramoff scandal worked for the Mashpee Wampanoag
Tribe of Massachusetts until this March of this year, The Cape Cod Times reports.
Kevin Ring represented the tribe well, tribal leaders said. They employed him even when he left the Greenberg Traurig firm after the scandal broke.
The relationship, however, ended earlier this year for unexplained reasons. Another former Greenberg Traurig continues to work for the tribe.
Ring has been indicted in 10 counts.
