The Yakama Nation of Washington has fired its business manager after a little over a year on the job.
Rebecca Trujillo was fired as head of the Yakama Nation Land Enterprise earlier this week. Chairman Ralph Sampson Jr. said the reasons are being kept confidential.
Trujillo was hired to replace Lehigh John, who was fired in May 2007. John is suing tribal leaders amid a federal investigation into his removal.
The enterprise oversees the tribe's RV park and other businesses.
