Two former leaders of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma have been indicted.
Bill Blind and Vinita Sankey, husband and wife, served on the tribal business committee. They are accused of conspiracy and embezzlement in connection with the theft of over $200,000 in tribal funds.
More than a dozen former Cheyenne-Arapaho officials and employees have been indicted in connection with thefts from the tribe.
