Oglala Sioux
Tribe of South Dakota won't take presidential candidate Theresa "Huck" Two Bulls off the November 4 ballot.
Actor/activist Russell Means said Two Bulls couldn't run for office because she serves in the state Legislature. But the election commission chairman said Two Bulls plans to resign as state Senator if she wins the election.
Means and Two Bulls were the top two vote-getters in the tribe's primary. Incumbent president John Yellow Bird Steele didn't get enough votes.
