Tribe of South Dakota ousted incumbent president John Yellow Bird Steele from office, according to official results.
Actor/activist Russell Means, who has run for tribal office several times, won the most votes in the primary last week. He will face state Sen.
Theresa Two Bulls , who was the first Indian woman to serve in the state Legislature.
The general election takes place November 4.
