Tribes who were clients of disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff haven't let the scandal stop the flow of their campaign contributions.

The tribes' contributions dropped after the scandal broke in 2004. But they donated $1.2 million during the 2006 election cycle and have donated another $1.2 million as of July of this year, Congressional Quarterly reported.

Not all of Abramoff's former clients, however, have resumed their giving. The Tigua Tribe of Texas, the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana and the Chitimacha Tribe of Louisiana have not made any donations during this election cycle.

"Through no fault of our own, we have become political pariahs," Coushatta Vice Chairman David Sickey said at Abramoff's sentencing hearing last week.
