Diane Benson, an Alaska Native woman who is seeking the Democratic nomination for Alaska's sole Congressional seat, has raised $52,506 in the past three months, The Anchorage Daily News reported.
Benson, who is Tlingit, accepted contributions from Tohono O'odham Nation and the Hualapai Tribe, both of Arizona, the paper said.
Benson trails Ethan Berkowitz, who raised four times as much. The candidates hope to face Rep. Don Young (R-Arizona), who is facing questions about his ethics.
