Voters of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe of Arizona re-elected Chairman Peter Yucupicio and all but one incumbent on Tuesday.
Yucupicio was the top vote-getter in the election. Incumbent Priscilla Flores failed to garner enough votes to stay on the council. One vacant seat was filled.
The CEO of the tribe's casino operation offered tribal members free meals if they voted early in the election. Former chairwoman Herminia Frias, who was ousted last year, accused tribal leaders of vote-buying.
