The Nez Perce Tribe and the Kootenai Tribe signed gasoline tax agreements with Idaho Gov. C.L. “Butch” Otter on Friday.
The tribes agreed to charge the same 25-cents-per-gallon tax as the state. They will use the revenues for transportation needs.
The Coeur d’Alene Tribe and the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes already signed compacts with similar provisions.
