The Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians will raise awareness of its federal restoration through a sponsorship of the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes baseball team.
The tribe is nearing the 30th anniversary of its restoration to federal recognition. The November 18, 1977, law will be celebrated at a powwow later this year.
In the meantime, the tribe will have its logo placed on the scoreboard of the Volcanoes stadium and will have access to all the games.
