Three Washington reservation smokeshops raided

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives raided smokeshops on three Washington reservations on Tuesday.

Search warrants were served on smokeshops on the Swinomish Reservation, the Franks Landing Indian Community and the Stillaguamish Reservation. No arrests were made.

The raids are part of a major investigation into untaxed cigarettes. The Seattle Times said it was the largest search since a record-breaking seizure in 2003.
