A Bureau of Indian Affairs teacher at a school on the Navajo Nation has pleaded not guilty to sexual assault of a minor.
Michael Begay, a coach and physical fitness instructor at Dilkon Community School in Arizona, allegedky went to the home of a student and took her in his car. The student said he consumed an alcoholic beverage and inappropriately touched her.
The incident was immediately reported to police, who arrested Begay at his home. Officers said he was intoxicated.
