The Department of State has awarded its Prime Contractor of Year award to a business owned by the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska.
Under a contract with the department, All Native Systems Inc. built a database to help solve more than 700 murders on the Mexican border. ANS also developed information technology infrastructure for the Mexican attorney general's office.
Fred Schellenberg, who works in the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City, nominated the firm. He said All Native
goes "the extra mile” for its clients.
All Native Systems is part of Ho-Chunk Inc., the economic development corporation of the tribe.
